Recently, 28 teachers and students from Chengdu Chenghua Tianfu Panda Kindergarten took part in the activity for children of Hand-puppet Small Theater named I Don’t Want to Eat Bamboo Anymore of Panda Story House planned by the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The weather in Chengdu was pleasant in late spring and early summer. The kids were guided by the science teachers to go to the panda enclosures to visit the national treasure face to face and learned about their food and how they eat.

After the visit, they went back indoors to watch the hand-puppet show named I Don’t Want to Eat Bamboo Anymore, which is based on the popular science picture book of the same name. It shows the children the eating habits of giant pandas and the right coping method when we meet other animals in the wild though the story of the protagonist of the puppet show, the giant panda Mao Mao.

The kids enjoyed this activity which left a beautiful and precious memory in their minds.
