Recently, the Panda Base carried out the National Science Popularization Day and International Red Panda Day “Awesome Red Elf” Series Themed Science Popularization Activity in the No.2 Red Panda Enclosure and the Giant Panda Museum respectively.

The activity was carried out based on the habits and habitats of the red panda, as well as the pseudo thumb of the red panda and other related scientific knowledge as an entry point for on-site visitors and young students. Through the theme poster display, lectures by scientific research experts, theme popular science explanations, popular science movie viewing, interesting interactive games, environmental protection interactive sharing, distribution of promotional materials, self-media promotion and other links and contents, the scientific knowledge of red panda is popularized in multiple forms and levels, aiming to enhance the public’s awareness of environmental protection, encourage the public to take active action and jointly practice environmental protection.
