Summer Beauty
2024-06-28 16:04

Chilean poet Pablo Neruda described the charm of summer in the fourth poem of his famous work “Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair”:

The morning is full of storm

in the heart of summer.

The clouds travel like white handkerchiefs of goodbye,
the wind, traveling, waving them in its hands.

The numberless heart of the wind
beating above our loving silence.

Summer has arrived. Clusters of newly blossoming jasmine flowers are singing softly in the wind while the giant pandas are showing their elegance in the fragrance of flowers, which has formed a unique summer song. Appreciating flowers while watching giant pandas is a summer treat for visitors.

“Little Ao Bai”

On a cool morning of summer, the panda cubs born in 2023 woke up early. Calm and concentrated, they rested on the ancient wood that was wet last night in deep meditation.

Fu Shuang

Fu Shuang (nicknamed Hu Lu Wa) will turn four soon. Away from the scorching sunlight, her steps become lighter.

Qing Chong Yang

Surrounded by the green of summer, Qing Chong Yang, a panda born on the Double Ninth Festival, is enjoying bamboo leisurely, showing the vitality of life at that moment.

“At this time of the year, the lychees are just ripe.” Amid the long summer day, intoxicated by the gorgeous scene, you may forget the hustle and bustle for a while.
